Aspley Lodge Motel

Hotel is great for the price. Topped. My expectations by far. Receptionist was great and was more than kind to us despite how much of a nuisance we were, which we thank her for massively. Noticing a previous review the manager also said he would call the police on some of our group because they could not get into their room. P.S do not leave the latch down in room 14 it will cost you £25 or a fire exit sign.

booked a room for my teenage son. The Manager & the staff could not have been more helpful and considerate in helping make his stay comfortable and were very understanding & accommodating with his needs. They even allowed him to stay beyond check out time, whilst he was waiting to be collected. The room was compact but had all the amenities you would need and was more than adequate for a short term stay.

We arrived in the hotel very tired. The girl in the reception was very polite, helpful, and amazing in general!!We got a room but there was not a loo door so we asked for a change. We got given a new room which was ok in general. Although, we have found 2 plastic finger nails on the floor. The lady in the reception during our check out was very polite as well. Pets are allowed as well which is very nice.

Remember what you're paying for a room here and you'll undstand what real value you're getting. The rooms are clean, warm and secure. And my shower was powerful and as hot as I could stand it. I was there 3 nights and I wish I have come across the Commodore a week before, and saved hundreds of pounds. It's really easy to find and park, and the road you're on has everything you need shopping wise. 2 minute walk or seconds in the car. Plus the hosts can't do enough for you. What more do you want for as little £25?

It was a nice stay at Commodore. The room was very well heated which was my main concern and fast wifi. I stayed just above the reception in the main building. No idea for the rest of the rooms. Although some improvements needed obviously, you can get what you paid! Don't expect luxury! Perfect for a short stay!

I’m currently still at the hotel but had to write a review before I’d even left. All I can say is excellent customer service. This was a last minute booking and they still found room to accommodate five of us. The lady and gent were super nice and showed us everything we needed. Will be coming back!

We booked here before reading any reviews, and once we checked we were super nervous about staying. We got there and were greeted by a really polite couple on reception to then find out it hadn’t recently been put under new management. we were then showed to our room and was pleasantly surprised, clean sheets, comfy bed, smelled freshly painted, clean showers/towels/toilet. Everything was as it should be and I felt more than comfortable to stay there. Stayed two nights and got a really good sleep both nights, great location lots of fast food places/convenience stores close by as well :) The managers were so friendly, couldn’t do enough for you especially for the amount you pay. Give it a chance before you avoid because of old reviews!

I paid 27 pound for a room I pay this to pitch up a tent in Wales! You get a large room big bed TV on the wall tea and coffee, soap and towels and a warm welcome what more do people want??? Highly recommended if you need a place to stay and don't want to pay silly prices
